Our 2017 autumn class schedule is now up and ready to rock – hooray! Here is what you need to know in order to sign up for all the sewing goodness.
Essential Bra Making 101 – now in 3 locations
This autumn, we’re proud to be bringing our underwire bra making classes to both Fredericton and Saint John, New Brunswick, as well as in our hometown of St. Stephen, NB. In this class, you’ll learn how to sew an underwire bra in a pattern that has been custom fitted to your own body! To see the list of dates and find out how to register, check out the Essential Bra Making class page. (Testimonials from past students can be found on our Facebook page)
New Bra Making Classes!
For those who have taken Essential Bra Making 101 in the past, you can up your bra making swagger with our new Level Up: Lacy and Racy class! You’ll learn how to alter your fitted pattern to make style changes, add lace in different ways, and even convert it from a full to a partial band. Contact Abby for more details on this one.
We’re also offering a two day bralette making class this fall. These soft, non-wired bras are all the rage, but the sizing is often limited. In our class, we’ll be making a bralette that will fit you, based on the Sweet Sixteen bralette pattern from Bra Makers Supply. Learn more at the Va Va VOOM Bralette course page.
and our biggest announcement…
Basic Sewing and Garment Making Classes
After many requests, Queen of Cups has developed a series of sewing classes for complete beginners. You can learn how to use basic sewing tools and machines in Sewing Mastery 101, get to grips with materials in Demystifying Fabrics and Patterns, and you’ll be rocking your very own, me-made skirt after taking All Good Things Come in an Amazing Wrap Skirt!
You can take one individual class, or you can bundle them all together – whatever works for you.
Class space is limited in all of our classes to ensure you get the attention and instruction you need. Register early to avoid disappointment!
